Blue Mountains Look out over the ranges

Blue Mountains Tour

The Blue Mountains is known for its breathtaking scenery and is a fantastic place for day trips from Sydney. You can totally immerse yourself in nature all from about a 90 min drive west from the middle of the city.

Visiting the Blue Mountains you can set your gaze upon the monolithic walls of the great dividing mountain range, view the vast sweeping canopies of Eucalyptus trees in the Jamison Valley and get up close with the iconic Three Sisters at Echo point. There are countless walking tracks that surround several waterfalls, hikes, viewpoints and villages. This tour is a must do whilst visiting Sydney

Jervis Bay Tour

Jervis Bay is a little further away than the other day trips from Sydney,  however the Jervis Bay area features a lot of great locations such as the famous Hyams Beach. The sand at Hyams Beach is so white that on sunny days, the light reflecting off the sand is capable of blinding and if you aren’t wearing sunglasses it will sear your retinas like tuna steaks. Ok so maybe that was a lie but it does hold the Guinness World Record for the whitest sand in the world and is truly a must visit location.

There are other great spots nearby and on your way down including the town of Huskisson, Kiama and the Kiama Blowhole. Jervis Bay is also a popular place to see dolphins and other marine life.

Port Stephens Tour

Port Stephens day trips from Sydney is 215kms North of of the city, roughly the same distance as Brussels to Amsterdam, which is roughly a 2.5 hour drive.  It is a great region made up of amazing beaches, beautiful lookouts such as the Tomaree summit walk and laid back beach town communities.

It is a great spot to spend a day on the beach, spot dolphins, whales or maybe even a fairy penguin, take in some Australian beach culture and eat a mouthful of sand from shredding down a few too many sand dunes at high speeds sand-boarding in Anna Bay.

Royal National Park

The Royal National Park is a great place for a day trip. There you can swim in lagoons, Relax on beaches and bushwalk to some amazing views.
The picturesque Wattamolla is a beautiful beach located in the middle of dense bushland and is an amazing place to spend a summer day.

Wattamolla beach is best described as where the bush meets the beach, with a relaxed lagoon to swim in that adjoins to a beach with waves to swim and body surf in.
Also nearby on these day trips from Sydney is Bald Hill Headland Reserve which has some great views overlooking Stanwell Park and the Sea Cliff Bridge. From this lookout, you can often watch crazy people hang gliding off the edge of the cliff face and land down on the beach below.
